Connecting OBS Studio to Facebook Live Stream

To connect OBS Studio to Facebook Live Stream, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Facebook account and navigate to your page or profile where you want to stream.
2. Click on the “Create a post” button and select “Live Video” from the options.
3. In the “Live Video” window, copy the “Stream Key” and keep it safe.
4. Open OBS Studio and go to the “Settings” menu.
5. In the “Settings” menu, select “Stream” from the left-hand side menu.
6. Under “Stream Type,” select “Custom Streaming Server.”
7. In the “URL” field, enter the “Server URL” provided by Facebook, which should be “rtmps://live-api-s.facebook.com:443/rtmp/”
8. In the “Stream key” field, paste the “Stream Key” you copied from the Facebook “Live Video” window.
9. Click “OK” to save the changes.
10. In OBS Studio, create and set up your scene with the sources you want to include in your stream.
11. Click the “Start Streaming” button to start broadcasting your stream to Facebook.
12. Once you’re finished streaming, click the “Stop Streaming” button in OBS Studio to end the stream.
13. On Facebook, click the “Finish” button to end your Facebook Live stream.
