How to upload files to my Storage

To upload files to your storage you will need access to our hosting platform, therefore we recommend installing on your computer FileZilla and we will provide you with the credentials required to get access to your media/files storage.

To install FileZilla and connect to an SFTP server, follow these steps:

  1. Download the latest version of FileZilla client from the official website: https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client
  2. Install FileZilla client on your computer.
  3. Launch FileZilla client.
  4. In the FileZilla client window, go to “File” > “Site Manager.”
  5. In the Site Manager window, click on the “New Site” button and enter a name for your SFTP connection.
  6. In the “Protocol” dropdown, select “SFTP – SSH File Transfer Protocol.”
  7. In the “Host” field, enter the hostname or IP address of the SFTP server provided to you.
  8. In the “Port” field, enter the port number for the SFTP server (usually 22 unless stated be us).
  9. In the “Logon Type” dropdown, select “Normal.”
  10. Enter your SFTP username and password in the appropriate fields (this will be provided to you).
  11. Click on the “Connect” button to connect to the SFTP server.
  12. Once connected, you should see two panes in the FileZilla client window. The left pane displays your local files, while the right pane displays the files or folders for your church on our server.
  13. To transfer files, simply drag and drop files between the two panes.

That’s it! With these steps, you can easily install FileZilla and connect to an SFTP server. SFTP is a secure way to transfer files between computers over the internet, and FileZilla is a popular, free and open-source FTP client that supports SFTP.
